This week we did not have a speaker, however we did have a surprise appearance by some of the representatives of State Senator Susan Rubio, including the representative for the Covina area, Natalie Tong. She told our members how to reach her and the Senator's office so that they could extend their resources to us in case we ever wanted to collaborate on helping our community and improving the Covina Area!

On Saturday May 3, 2025, CSR put on a fantastic event - our annual Mardi Gras in May! This annual event has been pleasing the crowds for many years and was one great party! We had dozens of great food suppliers, free wine, beer and champagne, live music, a casino room, live and silent auctions and so much more. Under the leadership of Robert Avila, Sunrise Rotary of Covina hosted its first Cornhole Tournament! The tourney was held Saturday, April 5th at Edna Vees in Covina. Over 50 participants and spectators attended and it was a great day of competition, raffles and fun!
