Greg Marquez inducted as our newest Rotarian!

On August 18, we added Greg Marquez, owner of GoodGuyTCG & CapybaraCards in Downtown Covina. Being a former member of the Covina Interact Club during his highschool days, he opened his inagural speech recounting his younger years of having hardship in his youth, and learning the importance of giving back to his community. He then traveled around the US, opening chain resturaunts like Chili's and Dave & Busters, until he decided that Covina was his home. In 2021, he started his companies, GoodGuyTCG & CapybaraCards, in the old Covina Bank building, which has exploded as a reputable shop for the trading card market, as well as a place to hang out and play the games associated with the collectibles like Magic the Gathering or Pokemon. Finally, he ended his speech with a note on how much the mentoring from past and current presidents had impacted his life, and how thrilled he was to be joining the Jewel in the Crown of Rotary clubs, Sunrise Rotary of Covina.
