This week we did not have a speaker, however we did have a surprise appearance by some of the representatives of State Senator Susan Rubio, including the representative for the Covina area, Natalie Tong. She told our members how to reach her and the Senator's office so that they could extend their resources to us in case we ever wanted to collaborate on helping our community and improving the Covina Area!

On August 18, we added Greg Marquez, owner of GoodGuyTCG & CapybaraCards in Downtown Covina. Being a former member of the Covina Interact Club during his highschool days, he opened his inagural speech recounting his younger years of having hardship in his youth, and learning the importance of giving back to his community.
